The beginning of military career
In September 1939, the Second World War and the Communist Party in France has been outlawed. On the orders of the Central Committee of the party in next year Ziap along Pham Van Dongo moved to China, where he received shelter from local communists. In December 1944, he stood at the head of the newly established People's Army of Vietnam, receiving baptism of fire on 24 th of during attacks on two small French post. In the main force Ziapa conducted small raids against the French. In March 1945, Japanese troops overthrew the French administration, still administering Vietnam to the French-Japan agreement in 1941. An important consequence of this event was that the rural areas of Vietnam finally stopped controlled by the government, which allowed Vetminyu to expand their activities and quickly recruit large numbers of volunteers in the army.
