Youth In Ziap Nguyen
In Ziap Nguyen was born in 1911 or 1912 in the village Anksa, Kuangbin Province (Central Vietnam). Sam Ziap later said that his father was in Quang Ngiem was a simple peasant, but there are suggestions that in fact he was a scientist and his family lived a relatively good environment for the peasants. We know that the father Ziapa participated in the uprising against the French in the late XIX century.
Ziapu lucky to education: in the mid 1920's he studied at the State Lyceum Hue (the same school finished at the same time, Ho Chi Minh, Pham Van Dong, and Ngo Dinh Zem), provide for the education of the European type, and free from French colonial influence. Already at this early age Ziap read a pamphlet Ho Chi Minh, and joined the revolutionary youth organization. In 1927, at the age of fifteen years, he organized a strike lyceum students in protest against the arbitrariness of the authorities after he was expelled from school. After that Ziap continued to actively participate in a clandestine revolutionary activities. After unsuccessful antifrantsuzskogo uprising of 1930 he was arrested and placed in jail, where he met his future wife Ming Tai.
There is a suspicion that Ziap for some reason held in prison only a small part of him put two-year term. Anyway, after their release, he was allowed to finish the education in Hue, and in 1933 he enrolled at the Hanoi University, who graduated with a diploma of a lawyer. In 1930 Ziap to write articles in the underground revolutionary newspapers and joined the Workers Party of Vietnam. At the same time, the future commander read many works of Napoleon and Sun Tzu, becoming a fan of the French emperor. After graduating from the University Ziap about penny-year history teacher in a private Hanoi Lyceum, the students gave him the nickname "General" because he could draw on the board a detailed plan of any campaign of Napoleon. In the late 1930's Ziap first married. About his life with first wife Ming Tai is known only that they had one daughter.
